Great article breaking down the real cost of the volt by Doctor Zero The Value of a Volt.. $40,000 in subsidies to design and build the car. PLUS ANOTHER $7,000 In incentives.
Where is ABC, CBS and NBC investigative reporting on this one?

Will we see this on ABC, CBS, or NBC? We definitely would if it were a Bush protester.
The President once again has ignored the facts and is drinking his own cool-aid. While the Latest report from the Medicare Trustees says they have added 12 years of solvency to Medicare their own Chief Actuary says that’s not true and those are fraudulent numbers. Hidden in the footnotes in the appendix of this report he says the savings that the Obama Administration is claiming are “extremely unlikely to occur.” Fact: You can not add 30,000,000 +/- more people to the government system without increasing costs.
But you won’t hear about the footnotes on ABC,CBS,NBC or their cable affiliates. Maybe CNN, but I doubt it.
He also talks about not cutting benefits from our seniors, but they cut $500,000,000,000 (billion) from the fund partly by cutting Medicare Advantage a very popular program. He touts the $3.85 per week savings in medicare premiums for seniors. $3.85, yep that almost enough for a can of cat food.
I do agree with the President on one part of his video speech “…we are no longer accepting business as usual”. No I am not. Where will you be on November 2, 2010?
In the Tuesday night primary, Missouri voters opted out of Obama Care. 71% said they want the State to opt out and won’t be forced to buy insurance just because the Fed says so. That is a loud shot across the bow of the democrats sinking garbage barge. The pushed it through, no one read it, it had provisions to be determined later, it is an albatross around the Dem’s necks and Obama too.
Really interesting side note. ABC, CBS and NBC all found it more newsworthy that Wednesday was the President’s 49th birthday, but not one of them mentioned on air the results of the Missouri Primary.
The fourth estate is dead. The “not ready for prime time” media has dropped the ball again.
Good article on something Congress got right.

Journolist site has since been shut down, but it was a gathering point of left wing journalists that felt it was acceptable to slant everything and conspire to libel and slander the right. Good info.
